Jerry Rykema - President
Jerry Rykema has been in the construction and mining industry since his early childhood years. His father had a fuel delivery company in his home town of Mora, MN. He went to college, graduated and started working for an asphalt company. Continuing to move up the career ladder, Jerry became a supervisor for a trucking company. In 1993, he stepped out on his own and started his own company doing septic systems and motor grader work. In 1999 he continues to grow his company and moved into producing washed sand and gravel for a local company. Today the company crushes and washes and screens nearly 2 million tons of material each year. With the same drive that grew a company with a skid steer to a successful aggregate producer, he started to help other customers reach their goals with Viking Aggregate Equipment. “We strive to do things the right way and at a fair price”
John Larson - VP Finance
John Larson graduated in 1996 with a degree in Accounting and Finance from Bethel University. He jumped right in at a successful cooperate company, working in the merges and acquis ion department. In 2004 he decided to bring his expertise and knowledge in the cooperate and go to work for his father-in-law, Jerry as a controller/safety director. He has worked hard in developing relationships with vendors to bring quality parts and service at a fair price.
